Edit and Retake Brand Mind
Update Brand Mind when things change: chat with it, edit custom instructions on the Brand Board, replace your logo, or rebuild from scratch.

Brands move. You rebrand, your audience shifts, you decide you hate that shade of teal. Brand Mind has three ways to keep up, from a quick tweak to a full rebuild.
Where to go
Click Brand Mind in the sidebar (or press G then B). You'll land on your Brand Mind dashboard, which shows your Brand Board: palette swatches, type specimens, a sample card, your logo, and your custom instructions. Two buttons sit in the header: Rebuild and Chat with Brand Mind.
Option 1: Edit on the board
Some things you can change right on the Brand Board without an interview:
Custom instructions. The custom instructions block on the board is editable. Add a rule, remove one, rephrase. It saves and applies to your next AI design. This is the same field as Custom instructions under Settings β AI, so edit it wherever's handy.
Logo. The board shows your logo on a transparent backdrop with a Replace button, or an Upload your logo dropzone if there isn't one. Uploading here updates your brand's logo and Brand Kit.
Option 2: Chat with Brand Mind
Click Chat with Brand Mind to open a conversation with your brand strategist. Tell it what's changed and it updates your Brand Mind so future designs follow. The welcome screen suggests starting points:
"I'm rebranding next month" to update your visual identity.
"My audience has changed" to refine your brand voice.
"Update my visual style" to evolve your design direction.
Or just talk: "We've moved upmarket. Fewer emojis, more whitespace, and stop calling people 'guys'." It's a conversation, so ask it what it currently thinks your brand is and correct it.
Option 3: Rebuild from scratch
Click Rebuild in the dashboard header. This reruns the full setup flow in rebuild mode: it re-reads your website (if you have one), rebuilds the board, and takes you back through the tappable interview (colors, fonts, style, custom instructions) and the logo step. At the end you tap Save your brand and return to the dashboard. No sample design is generated this time.
Use Rebuild when:
You've rebranded (new site, new colors, new fonts).
Your original setup was rushed or done without a website.
Small edits aren't fixing a general "this doesn't feel like us" problem.
The rebuild is a fresh brand analysis, so it costs 5 credits like the first build.
Changing your website
Your website URL lives at Settings β Brand. Update it there, then Rebuild so Brand Mind reads the new site.
Brand strictness and other AI settings
How tightly the AI sticks to your Brand Mind isn't part of Brand Mind itself. It's a per-brand setting at Settings β AI called Brand strictness (strict, balanced, creative). If designs feel too samey, loosen it; if they wander, tighten it. See "AI Settings per Brand".
Does editing cost credits?
Editing custom instructions on the board and replacing your logo are free. The rebuild's brand analysis is 5 credits. Post Ideas and AI designs that use your updated Brand Mind are charged as usual.
Tips
After any change, run one quick design to see the effect before you commit to a batch.
Keep custom instructions short and concrete. The AI follows "never use stock photos of people" better than a paragraph about authenticity.
Each brand has its own Brand Mind. Make sure you're on the right brand before you rebuild.
