Grade Your Photos
Adjust brightness and color, recolor with a gradient map, and add grain so photos match the rest of your design.

A quick grade makes a mixed set of photos look like they belong together. All of it lives in the Effects section of the Design panel.
Adjust
Select the image and open More β All options β Effects.
Open Adjust.
Move the sliders: brightness, contrast, saturation, exposure and hue.
Gradient map
A gradient map recolors the photo based on its darks and lights. Pick a preset, or choose your own colors, such as a deep purple for the shadows and a warm orange for the highlights. Duotone uses the gradient map now, so it gives you cleaner results than before.
Grain
Use the Grain slider for a film or print feel. The Background panel has its own Grain slider, so the photo and the background can match.
Blur
Blur presets are visibly stronger than before. Saved designs with an image blur render stronger than they used to, so check older designs before exporting.
Or just ask
"Grade the photo warmer with a little grain."
"Make the photo a purple and orange duotone."
"Boost contrast and drop the saturation a bit."
Good to know
Grade the photo before adding text effects, so you judge contrast on the final look.
Krumzi composites your photos as they are. It only repaints them if you ask.
