Generate a Carousel

Carousels are one of the highest-engagement formats on Instagram and LinkedIn, and one of the most tedious to design by hand. In Krumzi you write one brief and the AI designs every slide, cover to CTA, in one go.

Before you begin

• Carousels are available on every paid plan, including the trial.
• Credits are usage-based. A carousel is a bigger job than a single image, so the first generation costs more; later tweaks cost less.

How Krumzi thinks about carousels

A carousel in Krumzi is one wide canvas, not a stack of separate images. Slide 1 sits next to slide 2 sits next to slide 3, all on a single connected surface. That's why elements can flow across slide boundaries (a photo that continues from slide 2 into slide 3, a line that runs the whole length) and why the AI keeps colors, type, and spacing consistent: it's designing one piece. At export time the canvas is sliced into individual slides.

Generate your carousel

1. Open AI Designer and choose Carousel in the type selector.
2. Pick a format. Instagram Square (1:1), Instagram Portrait (4:5), or LinkedIn Post (1:1).
3. Set the slide count. Use the stepper. Instagram supports up to 20 slides; LinkedIn up to 10.
4. Choose your model, toggle Brand Kit if you have one, and attach any images you want used.
5. Describe the carousel and send. For example:

5-slide carousel: "5 Morning Habits That Actually Stick". Cover with the title, one habit per slide with a short line of explanation, last slide "Save this for later" with a follow prompt. Clean, editorial, off-white and deep green.

What the AI creates

• A cover slide built to stop the scroll.
• Content slides, one idea each, with a consistent layout system.
• A closing slide with a CTA, follow prompt, or summary.
• Consistent styling across the whole canvas, plus swipe cues or slide numbers when they help.

Because it's all one design, you can ask the AI to add or remove slides mid-conversation ("add a slide after 3 about hydration") and the canvas grows or shrinks to fit.

After generation

Refine in chat

Talk about slides by number: "make the cover headline bigger", "slide 3 has too much text, cut it in half", "warmer palette across the whole thing". The AI can also check for elements that stray across slide edges and fix them.

Edit on the wide canvas

Open the editor and you'll see every slide side by side. Drag elements within a slide or across a boundary, add and delete slides, and restyle anything.

Export

Export as separate images in a zip or as a multi-page PDF. Pick which slides to include, choose PNG, JPG, or WebP, and a size from 1× to 4×.

Tips for better carousel prompts

• Outline the slides if you know the structure: "Slide 1 title, 2 problem, 3 solution, 4 proof, 5 CTA."
• Keep copy short. Say so in the prompt. Slides read best at a glance.
• Ask for a strong cover. It's the only slide most people see.
• Paste a URL. Got a blog post? Paste the link and ask for a carousel of it. Krumzi reads the article and the AI turns it into hook, key points, and CTA, using the article's real images.
