Image exports happen right inside the editor through a small popover anchored to the Export button. Pick a format and size, download, done. Every format and size is available on every plan.

Export an image

  1. Open your design in the editor and click Export in the top right.

  2. File type: PNG, JPG, PDF or WebP.

  3. Size: 1×, 2×, 3× or 4×. The pixel width of each option is shown under it. 1× is the default and equals your canvas dimensions.

  4. Transparent background (PNG and WebP only): flip it on to drop the background and keep only your elements.

  5. File name: defaults to the design's name; later exports get v2, v3 and so on. Change it if you like.

  6. Check the summary line (format, final pixel size, estimated file size) and click Download.

The popover moves through Preparing (this usually takes a few seconds) to Ready, where you see a thumbnail of the actual rendered file with Download and Export again buttons. If a render fails, you'll see a clear message with Try again and a Contact support link. Your design is never affected by a failed export.

You can close the popover while it's working: the export keeps running in the background and the popover picks up where it left off when you reopen it.

Which format?

FormatBest forTransparency

PNG

Sharp text and graphics, logos, anything with transparency

Yes

JPG

Photo-heavy designs where file size matters (rendered at high quality)

No

WebP

Web use, small files with good quality

Yes

PDF

Sending to a printer or attaching to an email; a single page at your chosen size

No

Which size?

  • is already the platform's recommended dimensions (for example 1080×1350 for an Instagram portrait post).

  • keeps text crisp after platforms recompress your upload. A good default for social.

  • 3× and 4× for print, large displays, or when you plan to crop later. Documents created as flyers or brochures default to print-ready output on their own.

Transparent backgrounds

Set the design's background to Transparent in the Background tab, or leave a solid background in the design and simply toggle transparency in the export popover. Either way, choose PNG or WebP; JPG and PDF fill transparent areas with a solid color. Great for logos, stickers and overlays.

Previous exports

At the top of the popover, a Previous exports strip lists this design's earlier renders so you can re-download without rendering again. Everything you've ever exported also lives on the Exports page in the sidebar.

Watermarks and plans

Krumzi doesn't stamp watermarks on your exports. All formats and sizes are available on every plan, including during the free trial. Exports don't use AI credits.

Sharing and scheduling

Downloads work on iPhone and iPad Safari as well as desktop. You can also share a design via link, and where scheduling is enabled for your account, the Ready screen offers a Schedule button to post the design to Instagram or Facebook without leaving the editor.

Tips

  • Zoom in on small text before exporting; the export shows exactly what the canvas shows.

  • Autosave means the export always reflects your latest change.

  • Exporting a variation? Use Export again, tweak, and let the v2/v3 naming keep files apart.
