Sign Up and Sign In with an Email Code

Use your email and a 6-digit code instead of a password, including inside Instagram's and Facebook's browsers. Plus how one account per inbox works.

You don't need a password for Krumzi. Type your email, we send you a 6-digit code, you enter it, and you're in. Here's why we built it this way: it works anywhere, including inside Instagram's and Facebook's own browsers, where Google sign-in doesn't.

Sign up with a code

  1. On the sign-up page, click Sign up with email.

  2. Type your email and click Email me a code.

  3. Check your inbox for an email that starts Your Krumzi code. It looks like our other emails, with the Krumzi logo at the top and your code in big numbers. Krumzi shows Enter the 6-digit code we sent to your address. It can take a minute.

  4. Type the code, or let your phone fill it in from the email. It checks itself as soon as all six digits are in, so there's no button to press.

That's it. Your account is ready and you land on the plans screen to start your 3-day free trial. No password to make up, and no confirmation link to open in another browser.

Sign in with a code

  1. On the sign-in page, click Continue with email.

  2. Under the password form, click Email me a code instead.

  3. Enter your email, click Email me a code, and type the code from your inbox.

Signed up with a code? This is how you sign in. Have a password from before? It still works, and so does Forgot password?. Google and X sign-in work as always too.

Inside Instagram or Facebook

Tapped a Krumzi link inside Instagram, Facebook, Messenger or TikTok? Those apps open links in their own browser, and Google won't sign you in there, so Krumzi opens straight on the email form. Sign up with a code and you stay in that same browser the whole way, so a design you made with one of our free AI tools comes right along with you.

Troubleshooting

  • No code yet? Give it a minute and check spam or promotions. After 60 seconds you can click Send a new code.

  • Typo in your email? Click Use another email and start again.

  • Code not accepted? You'll see "That code didn't work. Check the latest email, or send a new code." Codes expire, and only the newest one works, so open the latest email, or click Send a new code and use that one.

  • "There's already a Krumzi account for this inbox. Sign in instead." You already have an account on that inbox, maybe under a slightly different spelling. See the next section, then sign in.

  • "Temporary or disposable email addresses can't be used to sign up." Use your regular personal or work email. See Can't Sign Up With Your Email.

One account per inbox

Each inbox gets one Krumzi account. Gmail ignores dots and treats googlemail.com the same as gmail.com, and Krumzi treats a "+tag" as the same inbox on every provider. So your.name@gmail.com, yourname@gmail.com and yourname+work@gmail.com all count as one inbox. If one of them already has an account, signing up with another is refused with There's already a Krumzi account for this inbox. Sign in instead. That goes for email, Google and X sign-ups alike.

Still stuck? Email hello@krumzi.com from the address you're trying to use and we'll sort it out.
