Credits Not Refreshing

When Krumzi credits reset, why yours might not have yet, and how to check your renewal date and balance.

Your credits didn't reset when you expected? Nine times out of ten it's a date thing. Here's how the cycle works and what to check.

How the reset works

Monthly credits reset on your renewal date, which is the day of the month you were first charged, not the 1st. Signed up on the 20th? Your credits reset on the 20th every month. Yearly plans reset monthly too, on the same day each month.

The reset gives you your plan's full monthly grant: 750 on Starter, 2,000 on Pro, 5,000 on Ultra. Unused monthly credits don't roll over.

Top-up credits are different: they never expire and don't reset. They sit in a separate balance and are used after your monthly credits run out.

Find your renewal date and balance

  • Settings β†’ Billing & plan: the usage card shows credits used, credits left, your top-up balance, and when your credits reset.

  • Settings β†’ Usage & credits: the credit ring, next recharge date, spend by feature, and recent charges.

  • The sidebar credits card shows what's left right now.

Reasons credits haven't reset yet

It isn't your renewal date

The most common one. Check the reset date on the Billing page and hold tight.

You're on the free trial

The trial comes with a one-time 1,000 credits for the whole 7 days. They don't refill during the trial. When your plan activates (on day 8, or earlier if you click Activate early), you get the plan's full monthly grant, and any unused trial credits plus an activation bonus carry over as never-expiring credits.

A payment failed

If your card was declined on renewal, your status goes to past due and the new credits don't land until the payment goes through. You'll see a red banner on the Billing page.

Fix: click Update payment method, then Retry charge.

You just changed plans

Upgrades apply immediately and adjust your allowance right away. Downgrades apply on your next renewal date, so the lower grant shows up then.

The webhook is a few seconds behind

Credits are granted when our payment processor confirms the charge. That's normally instant, but give it a minute and refresh the page.

Balance looks lower than you expected?

Credits are usage-based: bigger, more complex generations and long conversations cost more, and some operations are flat-priced (AI image generation and background removal are 5 each, transcription 2 per file, web search 1 per search). Open Settings β†’ Usage & credits to see exactly where they went, or the per-design usage view under Billing to trace a specific design.

Still off?

If your renewal date has passed, your payment went through, and your credits still haven't reset after 15 minutes or so, email hello@krumzi.com with your account email. We'll check the ledger and put it right.
