Archive a client to free a brand slot

A brand used to be permanent. Every client you'd ever taken on kept counting against your plan, so a wedding planner who'd delivered thirty weddings had thirty finished clients eating capacity they were still paying for.

That's fixed. Your plan now counts active brands. When a client wraps up, archive them and the slot comes straight back for the next one.

What archiving keeps

Everything. Archiving deletes nothing:

• The brand itself, its logo, name, and website

• Its Brand Mind and everything it learned

• Its Brand Kit — logos, colors, fonts

• Every design, folder, tag, and export in its Visuals library

• Its post ideas, content pillars, and AI settings

• Its connected Instagram and Facebook accounts

Restore the brand later and it all comes back exactly as you left it. Archiving isn't deleting — that's still a separate, permanent action in Brand settings.

Archive a brand

1. Go to Settings → Brands. You can also get there from Manage brands in the workspace switcher at the top of the sidebar.

2. Find the client under Active and click Archive.

3. Read the confirmation and click Archive brand.

The brand disappears from your workspace switcher and the slot is free. If you were working in that brand, Krumzi moves you to another one.

What happens to scheduled posts

Here's the one thing archiving does change: any posts that brand still has scheduled get canceled, so nothing publishes under a client you've finished with. The confirmation dialog tells you the number upfront ("3 scheduled posts will be canceled") so you're never surprised.

Drafts are left alone — they never publish on their own, and they're still there when you restore.

If you want those posts to go out, publish or reschedule them before you archive.

Restore a brand

1. Go to Settings → Brands.

2. Find the client under Archived and click Restore.

It goes straight back into an active slot with everything intact, and it reappears in your workspace switcher.

If all your slots are already full, Restore is greyed out. Archive another brand to free one up, or upgrade your plan.

Good to know

• You can't archive your only active brand. Create another one first.

• An archived brand is read-only. You can't switch into it, design in it, or edit its settings until you restore it.

• Krumzi stops refreshing an archived brand's social connections, so you won't get reconnect emails for a client you've put away. Restoring picks them back up.

• Archived brands aren't visible to the Krumzi MCP server either, so Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor won't design into one by accident.
