AI Settings per Brand
Per-brand AI defaults: model, thinking, brand strictness, auto-critique, web search, image generation, reply style, and copy language.

Every brand in Krumzi has its own AI settings: the defaults the AI Designer starts with and a few switches that change how it works. They live at Settings β AI, and there's a shortcut button in the top-right of the AI Designer page that opens the same settings in a modal.
Changes autosave as you make them (you'll see an "All changes saved" pill). Brand owners and admins can edit; members see them read-only.
The settings
Automatic design critique
Off by default. When on, the AI critiques its own work after big generations using a separate vision model, then applies the fixes. It produces more polished results and costs extra credits. Even when it's off you can ask for a critique in chat any time ("critique this and fix what's weak").
Web search
Off by default. Sets whether new chats start with the Search pill on. With it on, the AI can search the web when a design needs facts (1 credit per search), and it still only searches when it genuinely needs outside info. You can flip Search per chat regardless of this default.
AI image generation
On by default. Turn it off and the AI loses the ability to generate artwork; it'll build designs from your uploads, stock photos, and icons only. Useful if you never want generated imagery on your brand, or want to keep costs down (generated images are 5 credits each).
Default model
The model new chats start with for this brand. Claude Opus 5 out of the box. You can still switch models inside any conversation.
Extended thinking
Whether editor chats start with deeper reasoning on. Slower and uses more credits, better on hard briefs. Also togglable per chat.
Brand strictness
Strict, balanced, or creative. This is how hard the AI is held to your brand palette and fonts, and the design critic judges by the same setting. Strict for a locked-down brand system, creative when you want the AI to stretch.
Chat replies
Concise (default) keeps the AI's chat messages short. Explanatory adds the reasoning behind its design choices, which is handy while you're learning what it responds to.
Design copy language
Leave empty and on-canvas text matches the language you write your prompts in. Set a language and every design's copy comes out in that language, no matter what language you chat in. Great for teams briefing in English and publishing in another market.
Custom instructions
The same free-text rules as Brand Mind's custom instructions ("always end with our URL", "never use exclamation marks"). Edit them here or on the Brand Board; it's one field.
Defaults, not locks
Model, thinking, and web search here are starting points. The per-chat controls in the AI Designer and editor still override them for that conversation.
Per brand
If you run several brands, each has its own settings. A playful brand can run creative strictness and explanatory replies while a corporate one runs strict and concise. Switch the active brand and the settings switch with it.
Where else the settings tab lives
Settings has a left rail with AI, Billing & plan, Usage & credits, Brand, and Profile. Opening Settings lands you on the AI tab.
