Duplicate, rename, and delete designs

Copy a design into any folder, rename it from the editor, and delete designs from Visuals, with keyboard shortcuts for bulk work.

The Visuals library handles the housekeeping around your designs: copying them, renaming them, and getting rid of them. All three take a couple of clicks.

Duplicate a design

Duplicating is the fastest way to create a variation. The copy is a fully independent design with the same elements, size, and layers, so you can change the headline or swap the photo without touching the original.

  1. Open Visuals and select the design (or several).

  2. Click Duplicate in the action bar at the bottom.

  3. In the dialog, choose where the copies should go: the current folder, the top level ("Visuals"), or any other folder in your tree.

  4. Confirm. Each copy is named after the original with "(duplicate)" added, so you can spot it right away.

Carousels duplicate with their slide count and every slide's content intact.

Rename a design

Names are edited inside the editor, not in the grid:

  1. Open the design.

  2. Click the title in the top bar of the editor.

  3. Type the new name and press Enter or click away. It saves immediately, along with the rest of your autosaved changes.

New AI-generated designs are named automatically from your brief; renaming is a good habit before you export, because the design name becomes the default filename of the export.

Delete designs

  1. In Visuals, select one or more designs. Use Ctrl/Cmd + A or Select All to grab everything on the page.

  2. Click Delete in the action bar.

  3. Confirm in the dialog.

Deletion is permanent. There's no trash bin to restore from, so if a design might be useful later, move it to an "Archive" folder instead. Files you've already exported are unaffected: they're still listed on the Exports page and available to download.

Deleting a folder deletes every design inside it as well. Move the designs out first if you want to keep them.

Good to know

  • Everything here is per workspace. Duplicating a design keeps it inside the same brand; there is no cross-brand copy.

  • Duplicating never costs credits. Only AI work does.

  • Prefer to make the copy from inside a design? Ask the AI in the editor chat to "make a version of this for LinkedIn" and it will adapt the design in place; if you'd rather keep the original untouched, duplicate first.
