Refine Your Design

Keep chatting to iterate on an AI design, then keep or discard each change. How refinement, pending changes, and threads work in Krumzi.

Your first result is a starting point. The AI Designer is a conversation, so you keep talking until the design is right, and every change it makes is yours to accept or reject.

How refinement works

After the first generation you're in the editor with the chat panel open. Type what you want changed and send. The AI reads the live canvas (every element, its text, font, color, and position), takes a screenshot when it needs to see the pixels, makes the change, and checks its work. You don't need to repeat your original brief; the conversation remembers.

Refinement turns are usually cheaper than the first generation because there's less to do. Credits are usage-based, so a one-line tweak costs a fraction of a full build.

What you can ask for

  • Text: "Change the headline to 'Summer Drop 2026'", "make the body copy smaller", "try a serif for the title".

  • Color: "darker background", "headline in white", "use my brand orange for the button".

  • Layout: "move the logo top-right", "give the headline more room", "put the badge under the price".

  • Imagery: "swap the photo for something warmer", "remove the background on the product shot", "generate an illustration instead".

  • Style: "more minimal", "make it feel premium", "add a glass panel behind the text".

  • Quality: "check contrast", "does anything overlap?", "critique this design and fix what's weak".

The AI can also search stock photos, generate images (5 credits each), search the web if you turn on Search (1 credit per search), and add or delete carousel slides.

Keep or discard changes

From your second message onward on an image or carousel design, nothing the AI does is final until you say so. Every element it adds, edits, or deletes becomes a pending change:

  • On the canvas, pending elements get a purple dashed outline with a keep/discard badge.

  • In the chat, a review panel lists every pending change.

  • Keep or discard each one individually, or use keep-all / discard-all.

Discarding reverts the element to how it was before that turn (added elements disappear, edited ones snap back, deleted ones return). Pending changes survive a page refresh and stack across several turns until you review them. Elements pending deletion are left out of exports, so what you download matches what you meant. Discarding doesn't refund credits, since the work was still done.

The very first generation on an empty design commits straight away (there's nothing to protect yet). Review kicks in from your second message.

Stop mid-turn

If the AI is heading somewhere you don't want, press Stop. It halts cleanly and keeps whatever it built so far. Stopped turns are charged half.

Refine vs. edit by hand vs. start over

  • Refine in chat when you want broad changes, style shifts, or the AI's judgment.

  • Edit by hand when you want exact control: nudge two pixels, set an exact hex, pick a specific weight. No credits.

  • Start over when the concept is wrong, not the details. Open a new thread on the same design or write a fresh brief.

Threads

Each design keeps its conversation history, and you can start a new thread on the same design when you want a clean context. Switch between threads from the chat panel.

Rate the result

After a turn you can give the design a thumbs up or down and tell us why. That feedback trains how Krumzi improves.

Tips

  • Be concrete. "Make it better" is a guess; "30% bigger headline, white, and drop the shadow" is an instruction.

  • One or two changes per message land more reliably than ten.

  • Switch models mid-conversation if one keeps missing. A different model often reads the same brief differently.
