Design by chatting: the chat editor and versions
Point at part of your design, tell Krumzi what to change, and go back to any earlier version. How the chat editor, versions and undo work, on laptops and phones.

When you describe a design on the AI page, it opens in the chat editor: your conversation with Krumzi on the left, your design on the right. You point at the part you want to change, say what you want, and Krumzi does it. Every change is saved as a version, so you can always go back.
It works for images, carousels and documents. Opening any design from Visuals opens it here too. Video keeps its own editor.
Point at something, then ask
Click the headline, a photo or the background. On a carousel or document, click a slide's number to pick the whole slide. On a phone, tap.
Look at the pill at the top of the message box. It shows what you picked, like Headline. When nothing is picked, it says Whole design (or Whole carousel or Whole document).
Type what you want ("make it bigger", "use my brand orange") and send.
You can pick several things with Shift + click. After you send, the pick clears, so your next message is about the whole design again.
Krumzi gives every part a plain name, like Headline, Date or Main photo. You'll see those names in the chat, on the selection tag and in the Layers panel of the full editor.
Suggestions in one tap
Above the message box you'll see ready-made requests that fit what you picked, like Make it bigger, Try another font or Remove it. Tap one and it's sent right away.
Still drag, resize and retype by hand
Drag to move, use the handles to resize or rotate, and double-click (or tap again) a text to retype it. Colors, fonts and removing things are a request to Krumzi. Need panels, layers and every control? Click Open full editor in the header on a laptop. Your conversation comes with you, and Simple editor in the full editor brings you back.
While Krumzi works
Your design is held, so you can't edit it by hand until the reply is done. The chat shows each step as it happens (reading your brand kit, adding text, checking the result), and a pill on the design shows what Krumzi is doing, with a Stop button. If you stop it, Krumzi keeps what it finished.
Versions: every reply is saved
Under each Krumzi reply you'll see what changed:
Facts I changed lists dates, times, prices and addresses that changed, old to new, so a wrong date never slips through.
Chips for each changed part, like "Headline Β· new text", "Background Β· new color" or "1 slide added" (pages on a document). When a reply lands, everything it changed glows on your design for a moment. Hover or tap a chip and that part glows again, with its slide brought into view.
A version card with a thumbnail, "Version 3", and either What you see now or Click to look at it.
To look at an earlier version, click its thumbnail. A bar shows Looking at version 2 with Go back to this one and Back to latest. Press Esc to return to the latest.
Going back never deletes anything. It adds a new version, shown as one line in the chat ("Went back to version 2 Β· Version 5", with Current or Look next to it), so you can undo your going back too. If you edited by hand before the next AI change, that's saved as You edited the design, so your own work is kept.
Versions are free on every plan.
The version pill
The pill on your design shows Version 4 (or Version 4 Β· edited when you've made hand edits since). Press and hold Hold to see before to peek at the previous version, tagged Before Β· version 3. It also has Undo and Redo.
Undo and redo
Press Cmd/Ctrl + Z and a whole Krumzi reply is undone in one step. Redo brings it back. This works in the chat editor and the full editor. Undo is off while Krumzi is working.
Or just ask
You can also put it in words:
"Go back to how it was"
"Undo that"
"Bring back the photo"
Krumzi can look through your versions and restore one, or bring back just one part (like the photo) from an earlier version without touching the rest.
On your phone
It's the same editor, laid out for a small screen: your design on top, the chat below. Tap to pick something, drag to move it, tap text again to retype it, pinch to zoom. While you type, the chat shrinks to the latest reply so your design stays in view. Download saves your design to your phone. The full editor, with panels and layers, is on a laptop.
Good to know
Hand edits never use credits. Changes you ask Krumzi for are usage-based, like always.
A removed photo or text isn't gone for good. Go back to the version before it, or ask Krumzi to bring it back.
To make a different design altogether, start a new one from the AI page.
New designs get a name from your brief right away, like "Autumn Pop-Up at Crumb & Co.", instead of "Untitled". Click the name in the header to change it, or just ask Krumzi ("call it Winter classes"). Krumzi never renames a design you named yourself unless you ask.
