Export Carousels

Export a Krumzi carousel as separate slide images in a .zip or as a multi-page PDF, choosing which slides, the format and the size.

Your carousel is one wide canvas while you design it. At export, Krumzi slices it into individual slides for you and packages them either as a set of images or as a single PDF. Here's how.

  1. Open the carousel in the editor and click Export (the button shows your slide count as a badge).
  2. Export as: choose Separate images (each slide as its own file, bundled in a .zip) or Multi-page PDF (one document, one page per slide).
  3. Slides: every slide is shown as a real preview thumbnail. Click to include or exclude individual slides, or use the "All selected" toggle. Handy for exporting only the slides you changed.
  4. Image format & size (for separate images): PNG, JPG or WebP, at 1×, 2×, 3× or 4×. PDF always embeds full-quality PNG pages, so these controls are hidden when PDF is selected.
  5. Check the summary line and click Download.

The popover moves through Preparing to Ready, where you can Download or Export again. You can close it mid-render and come back; the job keeps running. Failed renders show a Try again button and never touch your design.

What you get

  • Separate images: a .zip containing one image per selected slide, named and numbered in order so you can upload them in sequence.
  • Multi-page PDF: one file with the selected slides as pages, in order.

Every slide is rendered from the same wide canvas at the scale you chose, then cut precisely at the slide guides. Anything you placed across a boundary (a photo continuing from slide 2 to 3, an arrow pointing into the next slide) lines up perfectly when viewers swipe.

Uploading to each platform

Instagram

Unzip the images, start a new post, tap the multi-select icon, and pick the slides in order. Instagram accepts up to 20 images per carousel, which matches the maximum slide count Krumzi allows for Instagram formats.

LinkedIn

Export as Multi-page PDF and attach it as a document post. That gives you the native LinkedIn "swipeable document" experience with page numbers. Uploading the separate images as a multi-image post works too.

Other platforms

Most platforms with multi-image posts (Facebook, X, Threads, Pinterest) take the individual images in the order you select them.

Format and size recommendations

  • PNG at 2× for text-heavy carousels on Instagram. Text stays crisp after compression.
  • JPG when a carousel is mostly photos and file size matters (rendered at high quality).
  • PDF for LinkedIn documents, sending decks by email, or archiving the set as one file.

Watermarks, plans and credits

No watermarks on any plan. All export options are available on Starter, Pro and Ultra and during the trial. Exports don't consume AI credits.

Where exports go

Downloads work on iOS Safari and desktop. Every render is also kept on the Exports page in the sidebar, and the popover's Previous exports strip lists this carousel's earlier files for one-click re-download.

Tips

  • Step through every slide once before exporting; typos hide on the slides you looked at least.
  • Deselect unchanged slides when you're re-exporting after a small fix.
  • Check the two slides that matter most, the hook and the CTA, in the preview thumbnails.
