Export Videos

Render a Krumzi video in the cloud and download it as MP4, MOV or MKV at 720p, 1080p or 4K, with frame-rate and compression options.

Video exports are rendered on Krumzi's cloud servers (Remotion on AWS Lambda), so your laptop doesn't do the heavy lifting. Pick your settings, start the render, download the file. Video is part of the Pro and Ultra plans (and the free trial); Starter covers images and carousels only.

Export a video

  1. Open the video in the editor and click Export video in the header. A full export screen opens with a live preview on one side and settings on the other.
  2. File name: defaults to the video's name.
  3. File format: MP4 (the safe choice everywhere), MOV or MKV.
  4. Quality: 720p, 1080p or 4K. The exact pixel dimensions for your aspect ratio are shown next to each option, so a vertical 9:16 video at 4K is 2160×3840, not 3840×2160.
  5. Frame rate: 30, 45 or 60 FPS. Krumzi compositions are built at 30 fps; higher rates make motion smoother at the cost of render time and file size.
  6. Compression: Web (small files for websites), Social Media (tuned for platform re-encoding), General (balanced), or Studio (highest quality for further editing).
  7. Click export. You'll see an Exporting Video progress screen with a Cancel Export button.
  8. On Export Complete!, click Download. Where scheduling is enabled for your account, you'll also see a Schedule button.

How long does it take?

It depends on duration, resolution, frame rate and how much is going on (animations, video clips, effects). Short social clips at 1080p usually finish in a minute or two; long or 4K renders take longer. Videos can be up to 30 minutes long. If a render fails, nothing is lost: your project is safe, just start it again.

What's included in the render

Everything you see and hear in the editor: entry and exit animations, scene and background transitions, animated backgrounds, Lottie animations, animated emojis and counters, captions with their styling, voiceover and music. What plays in the preview is what you get.

Watermarks and limits

Krumzi doesn't add watermarks. Pro and Ultra include unlimited video exports up to 4K and up to 30 minutes per video. Exports don't consume AI credits (auto-generated captions are the exception: transcription costs 2 credits per file at generation time, not at export).

Finding your files later

Every render is saved to the Exports page in the sidebar (press G then E to jump there), where you can re-download it any time.

Tips

  • Play the whole video in the editor before exporting; a re-render means waiting again.
  • Render a 720p draft first when a video is long or complex, then do the final at 1080p or 4K.
  • Uploading to a social platform? It will re-encode your file anyway, so Social Media compression at 1080p is the sweet spot.
