Open the AI Designer, describe what you want, and get your first design. Here's how the prompt screen works.

Everything in Krumzi starts with a sentence. You describe the design, the AI builds it from scratch, and then you keep talking to it until it's right. Here's how to get going.

Open the AI Designer

  1. Sign in at krumzi.com.

  2. Click AI Designer in the left sidebar.

You'll see a single prompt box in the middle of the screen with a row of controls above and below it. That box is where you type what you want.

Pick what you're making

Above the prompt box there's a type selector with four options: Image, Carousel, Document, and Video (Video is a Pro feature and marked Beta). Each type opens its own size controls:

  • Image shows a size grid with 44 platform presets across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, TikTok, Discord, Pinterest, Bluesky, and Product Hunt, plus a custom size bar for any width and height.

  • Carousel lets you choose the slide format and how many slides you want.

  • Document lets you pick a print page size (A4, A5, A3, US Letter, Half Letter, DL) and a page count for multi-page flyers and brochures.

  • Video lets you choose the video resolution.

Write your first prompt

Type what you want in plain language. Include the content, the mood, and anything you already know you want on the canvas. A good first prompt looks like this:

Create an Instagram post promoting a weekend yoga class. Calming blue and green tones. Headline "Weekend Yoga", subtext "Every Saturday at 9am". Minimal, lots of breathing room.

Then hit send. Krumzi opens the editor and you'll watch the AI work: it plans the design, adds elements one by one, checks its own work, and wraps up. Most designs are done in under a minute.

The controls around the prompt box

  • Model picker: choose which AI model designs for you. See "Choose an AI Model" for the roster.

  • Think: turns on deeper reasoning for models that support it. On by default for new sessions.

  • Brand Kit: include your saved colors, fonts, and logos (Pro and Ultra).

  • Search: lets the AI look things up on the web while it designs. Off by default, 1 credit per search.

  • Batch: generate several distinct designs from one brief. See "Batch Generate Variations".

  • Attach: add images, PDFs, text files, audio, or video to your prompt. See "Upload Files in Chat".

  • Mic: dictate your prompt instead of typing (or press Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Space). Free.

Paste a full URL into the prompt and it becomes a link chip. Krumzi reads the page for you so the AI can pull the text and images into your design.

What happens next

Once the AI finishes, you're in the editor with the chat panel open on the side. From here you can:

  • Keep chatting. "Make the headline bigger", "swap the photo", "more contrast". Each message is a new turn on the live canvas.

  • Edit by hand. Every element the AI made is fully editable: drag, resize, restyle, delete.

  • Export. Download when you're happy.

Every design keeps its own conversation history, so you can come back later and pick up where you left off. You can also start a new thread on the same design if you want a clean slate.

Tips for your first go

  • Don't overthink the first prompt. It's cheaper to refine than to agonize.

  • Give the AI the actual words you want on the canvas. It's better at layout than at guessing your copy.

  • Set up Brand Mind first if you want designs that look like you from the very first try.
