Batch Generate Variations

Sometimes you don't want one design; you want options. Batch mode takes a single brief and has the AI produce several distinct takes on it, all at once. Pick the one you like, or use them all as a content series.

How to run a batch

1. Open the AI Designer and choose your type (Image, Carousel, Document, or Video) and size as usual.

2. Click the Batch pill in the controls. A small Up to stepper appears next to it.

3. Set the maximum number of designs, from 2 to 10.

4. Write your brief and send.

The AI reads your brief and decides how many distinct designs make sense (up to your max), writing a separate prompt for each so they're truly different rather than the same layout recolored. If your brief already lists variations ("one for each of our three plans"), it follows that.

What happens next

You're taken to a progress screen showing "x of y done" as designs finish. Everything generates in parallel on the backend, so you can close the tab and come back; the batch keeps running.

When it's finished you get a results gallery with a live preview of every design. From there:

• Edit any design. It opens in the editor with its own AI conversation in the side panel, so you can refine it like any other design.

• Download all. Image and carousel batches export as a single zip. Video batches are edited and exported per design.

Every batch is saved under Batches in the sidebar, so you can revisit it later.

Good uses for Batch

• Options for a client. "Three directions for our summer campaign hero" gets you three genuinely different concepts to present.

• A content series. "A post for each of these five tips" produces five matching-but-distinct posts in one go.

• A/B creative. Several ad variants to test.

• Exploring a look. Not sure whether you want photo-led or type-led? Ask for both and compare.

Things to know

• One type per batch. You can't mix images and videos in the same run.

• Credits are charged per design in the batch, the same usage-based way as a normal generation. A batch of 8 costs roughly what 8 separate first generations would.

• Batch designs commit directly (no keep/discard review) since each starts from an empty canvas. Review kicks in once you start refining an individual design.

• Brand Kit, model choice, and Think apply to every design in the batch.

• Pasted URLs work in batches too: paste an article and ask for a batch of posts from it.

Tips

• Set the max to what you'll actually look at. Ten options is a lot to review.

• Give the AI room to differentiate. A brief that pins every detail produces near-identical designs; a brief with a clear goal and a loose direction produces real variety.
