Connect Instagram and Facebook

Before Krumzi can schedule or publish anything, it needs permission to post on your behalf. You grant that once per brand on the Accounts page.

Open the Accounts page

Click Accounts in the sidebar, or press G then A from anywhere in the app. You'll see a connect panel at the top and a grid of platforms underneath.

Connect Instagram

1. Click Instagram in the platform grid.

2. Read the short explainer that appears. It tells you exactly which permissions Krumzi asks for and why, so nothing on the Meta screen comes as a surprise.

3. Click through to Meta, log in, and approve the permissions.

4. You'll land back on the Accounts page with your handle showing and a green Connected badge.

Your Instagram account has to be a Professional account (Business or Creator) that's linked to a Facebook Page. That's a Meta requirement, not ours. Personal Instagram accounts can't be posted to by any third-party tool. You can switch to a Professional account for free in the Instagram app under Settings, Account type and tools.

Connect Facebook

1. Click Facebook in the platform grid.

2. Approve the permissions on Meta.

3. If you manage more than one Page, Krumzi shows you a picker. Choose the Page you want to publish to.

You can connect one Instagram account and one Facebook Page per brand. If you run several brands, switch brands first and connect that brand's accounts separately. Each brand keeps its own connections.

Reading the connected cards

Once connected, each card shows you:

• The account handle or Page name.

• A follower count, refreshed daily.

• Last published, so you can see at a glance when Krumzi last posted there.

• A green Connected badge, or an orange Reconnect badge if something needs attention.

When a connection needs reconnecting

Meta access tokens expire, and they get revoked if you change your password, remove the app, or change Page roles. When that happens the card turns orange and Krumzi shows you a dialog with the account name, how long it's been expired, and how many scheduled posts are paused because of it.

Click Reconnect and run through the same approval flow. Your paused posts resume on their existing schedule. Nothing is lost.

If connecting fails

If the Meta approval doesn't go through, Krumzi shows you a guided modal with the likely reason and the fix, rather than a generic error. The usual causes are:

• The Instagram account is still a personal account.

• The Instagram account isn't linked to a Facebook Page.

• You're not an admin on the Page you picked.

• You declined one of the requested permissions. Krumzi needs all of them to publish.

Disconnecting

Use the menu on a connected card and choose disconnect. Scheduled posts targeting that account stop until you reconnect. Anything already published stays on the platform, untouched.

Other platforms

TikTok, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, Threads and Pinterest show as Coming soon in the grid. You can still design for all of them and export, you just can't publish directly yet.

Plans

Publishing is available on paid plans. On the Free plan the Accounts page shows an upgrade prompt instead of the connect grid.
