Screenshot to Video is at krumzi.com/tools/video-screenshot. Upload a screenshot, wrap it in a moving gradient background, and download a video that looks a lot more alive than a flat PNG. It's free, needs no account, and the export has no watermark or badge.

Step by step

  1. Upload your image. Click the image area and choose a screenshot (any common image format works).
  2. Pick a background. There are 30 looping gradient backgrounds to choose from, ranging from soft pastels to bold neons. Click one and the preview updates.
  3. Set the duration. Drag the slider anywhere from 2 to 10 seconds.
  4. Style the screenshot. Choose one of four shadow weights (none, small, medium, large), scale the image with the Size slider (20 to 200 percent), and round the corners with the Radius slider.
  5. Add motion. Set an Entry and an Exit animation. Each can be none, fade, or zoom.
  6. Choose a format and export. MP4 is the default. Switch the format to GIF if you need an animated image instead of a video file. Hit export, watch the progress bar, then download.

Output details

Videos render at 1920 by 1080 (1080p landscape) at 30 fps. The gradient backgrounds come from the same engine that powers Krumzi's animated background generator, so the motion stays smooth whether you export 2 seconds or 10. If you want a square or vertical version for Reels or TikTok, crop the MP4 in any editor.

MP4 or GIF?

MP4 is smaller, sharper, and autoplays everywhere modern, including in a muted looping video tag on a website. Pick GIF only when the place you're posting won't accept video, such as some documentation tools or chat apps that treat GIFs as images.
