Use Brand Kit with AI
Turn on the Brand Kit toggle so the AI uses your saved colors, fonts, and logos automatically. How it works with Brand Mind.

The Brand Kit toggle tells the AI to design with your saved brand assets: colors, shade scales, heading and body fonts, and logos. Turn it on once and you stop typing your hex codes into every prompt.
Before you begin
Brand Kit is a Pro and Ultra feature (also included in the trial). On Starter the toggle shows a lock; clicking it opens the upgrade options.
Your Brand Kit needs something in it. Add colors, fonts, and at least one logo under Brand Kit in the sidebar.
Turn it on
Open the AI Designer.
Find the Brand Kit pill in the row of controls near the prompt box.
Click it. It's on when highlighted. It defaults to on whenever your plan includes Brand Kit.
The same toggle lives in the editor's chat panel, so you can flip it per message. It applies to the turn you send it with.
What the AI uses
Colors. Primary, secondary, and accent, plus the auto-generated shade scale for each, so it can pick a lighter tint for a background or a darker shade for text without leaving your palette.
Fonts. Your heading and body families for their respective jobs.
Logos. All your uploaded variants. The AI picks the right one for the background it's placing it on (light logo on a dark background, icon-only when space is tight).
Brand name. Used in copy without you retyping it.
The AI can also check its own work against your kit ("is this on brand?") using a perceptual color match, so a shade one step off your primary still passes while a genuinely off-palette color gets flagged.
Brand Kit vs. Brand Mind
They work together, and it's worth knowing the difference:
Brand Kit is the asset library: exact colors, fonts, logos. Pro and Ultra.
Brand Mind is the AI's understanding of your brand: your voice, audience, aesthetic direction, layout habits, and custom instructions. It's built through a guided interview and it's on every plan.
Brand Mind is always injected into AI design turns when it exists. Brand Kit is what the toggle controls. With both set up, the AI knows what you look like and how you sound.
How strictly it follows your brand
At Settings β AI there's a Brand strictness setting: strict, balanced, or creative. Strict keeps the AI tight to your palette and fonts; creative lets it stretch. Change it per brand.
When to turn it off
You're exploring styles or palettes and don't want brand constraints.
The design deliberately breaks from brand (a holiday theme, a one-off event).
You want to see what the AI does with zero guardrails.
You can also override in the prompt with the toggle on: "use my brand colors but make the background black" works fine.
Multiple brands
Ultra accounts can hold up to three brands. Switch the active brand from the brand switcher and the AI Designer uses that brand's kit, Brand Mind, and AI settings. Handy if you run several clients.
Tips
Fill the kit before relying on the toggle. The more it has, the more the AI can use.
Upload light, dark, and icon logo variants so the AI always has the right one.
If designs still look generic with the toggle on, check that your kit actually has colors and fonts saved, and consider setting Brand strictness to strict.
